- Contact and order details — name and email address, provided when you sign in with an email code, place an order, or contact us through the site.
- Order records — the items, cord style, quantity and payment amount for orders you place, together with the PayPal transaction reference needed to verify and process payment.
- Payment information — payments are processed directly by PayPal. selenecc does not receive or store your card number or PayPal login details; we only receive confirmation that payment was completed and the amount paid.
- Account sign-in — if you sign in, we store your email address and a temporary sign-in code or session token so you can view your order history.
- Shopping cart — items you add to your cart are stored locally in your browser (not on our servers) so your cart is remembered between visits on the same device.
- Basic technical data — standard web server logs (such as IP address and browser type) may be recorded automatically for security and troubleshooting.
How we use your information
- To process and fulfil your order, including shipping and order-related communication.
- To let you sign in and view your own order history.
- To respond to enquiries sent through the contact form or by email.
- To send order confirmations and, if you opt in, occasional updates about new guardians or care tips. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
When information is shared
We share the minimum information necessary with a small number of service providers strictly to run the store:
- PayPal, to process payment for your order.
- Our email delivery provider, to send sign-in codes, order confirmations and, where applicable, marketing emails.
- Where required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of selenecc, our customers or others.
How long we keep information
Order records are kept for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, warranty and after-sales purposes. Sign-in codes expire shortly after they are issued and are not reusable. You may ask us to delete your account and associated order history at any time, subject to any records we are required to keep for legal or accounting reasons.

- You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- You can ask us to delete your account and personal information, subject to the retention note above.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email, or by contacting us directly.

Cookies and local storage
This site uses your browser's local storage to remember your shopping cart and sign-in session — this stays on your own device and is not a third-party tracking cookie. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.
